
Megan is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who obtained her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Lewis University with an endorsement in working with children and adolescents. Megan provides individual and family counseling to children, adolescents, and adults. Megan is also trained in EMDR and enjoys working with clients within this framework.
Megan has worked in a variety of settings in both the profit and not for profit sectors in inpatient and outpatient settings within the Chicagoland area. Megan also has extensive experience in crisis intervention and safety planning to help all individuals feel secure, confident, and safe in managing their mental health. Megan currently provides assessments, treatment planning, and therapy on an inpatient behavioral health unit to all ages.
Megan has provided therapy to address a wide variety of issues from depression, anxiety, mood disorders, self-injury, trauma, personality disorders, and every day stress management. Her various therapeutic approaches often combine approaches from Person Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and various Family Systems approaches.
Megan strives to meet clients where they are to help build a solid foundation for management of their mental health and stress levels. Her primary goal is to help clients feel safe and secure and to help them feel empowered to achieve their personal goals.
